Calculate your reserve fund

Every VvE is required to reserve for future maintenance. Work out how much that is: based on your maintenance plan or the statutory minimum rule.

Calculation method
Fill in the details to calculate your reserve amount.

This calculator gives an indication. The actual reserve amount depends on your deed of division (ownership shares), the condition of the building and the current MJOP. In Ledenboek you record the real MJOP and see per year what is planned.

How much does a VvE need to reserve?

Since 2018, every VvE has been required to reserve annually for future major maintenance. This can be done in two ways: based on an up-to-date long-term maintenance plan (MJOP), or via the statutory minimum rule of 0.5% of the rebuild value per year.

An MJOP gives the most realistic picture, because it works with the maintenance your building actually needs. The 0.5% rule is a safety net for VvEs without an up-to-date plan. In both cases you divide the annual contribution among the owners by ownership share.

Monitor your reserve fund automatically

In Ledenboek you set up the MJOP once and continuously see whether the reserve fund is sufficient. Try it free for 30 days.
